There are books on perfume, and there are books on perfumery. Demo Accords is both. It’s rare to find a contemporary book on what exactly goes into a formula while you’re smelling the perfume itself. Plus perfume isn’t just a vapor that is a sensory input. It’s a narrative which needs more time than social media swipes can give. The essays that came with each composition moved me and deepened my appreciation for perfumery. Demo Accords is a unique, enriching, and unforgettable experience.
I devoured the book. Reading the individual chapters whilst smelling the wonderfully crafted scents was an exceptionally successful combination.

Thanks to the author’s beautifully crafted prose, this book loses neither its engaging quality nor its entertainment value, despite its depth and seriousness.

This is the book every person who considers themselves a perfume lover should read and smell! Demo Accords is a unique, very immersive and deeply personal experience: I laughed, I cried, I fell in love and encountered my core childhood memories. It's a journey worth walking with your mind and your nose.
This combination of essays and scents creates the most unique experience, not only did I submerge fully into the narrative, this multi-sensory experience was totally transformative. Each chapter is also so poignant and thought provoking what’s being super fun! I also fell so in love with Antifa and 10 out of 10… really hope one day I can get a bottle of each. All of the sample frags are incredible - a must read & sniff.
