The Tea Eau de Parfum

This scent is every tea in the world almost, and before I tried it I couldn’t imagine how each would get its moment in the blend. But they all do, and it’s magical. A balance of taste and skill! The notes come through in a slow dry down that starts fresh and crisp and ends earthy, mellow, and a little powdery. Very clean, sparkly almost, a cool breeze of tea. This scent has more longevity on me than many other tea blends I’ve tried (I’ve sampled Vilhelm, Floriaku, d’annam, One Day and a few others- no shade to any of them!) and I love it! Purchased from a US retailer.

To me The Tea smells like a precious memory of the smoky, rich and meditative cup of tea you would get on the train traveling Belarus to Ukraine - hot, steamy, in a metalic holder and with a mandatory slice of lemon added by a kind train conductor. You sip on it watching how one landscape changes the other in the window and listening to the clacking of the wheels on the tracks

Beautiful scent! Fresh, sparkling, feels fancy in a sipping-tea-while-wearing-a-hat-and-sitting-under-a-flowering-tree way.

I picked this up from Barnes, alongside Petrol Head - this is an absolutely beautiful tea scent. It opens bright and fresh, like that first cuppa on a warm sunny day. And then it becomes softly woody and warm - letting you know everything is going to be OK. Delightful on its own but also wonderful to layer with other scents with tea notes to amplify them. Just stunning!
